Summary

NASA is seeking information from potential sources for Astronaut Crew Rescue Services as part of its Commercial Crew Program (CCP) missions. The contractor will be responsible for providing astronaut crew rescue services during critical phases such as launch, free flight, and landing, ensuring the safety and medical care of astronauts in off-nominal situations. This includes real-time communication with NASA, retrieval of astronaut crews, and basic medical care during transportation to medical facilities. Contractors with capabilities in emergency response, medical support, and rescue operations, particularly those with experience in aerospace or military operations, are encouraged to submit their capability statements. The opportunity is open to all interested parties, including small businesses and minority institutions, to determine the appropriate level of competition and subcontracting goals.
