Summary

The Ballistic Missile Early Warning (BMEW) and Military Satellite Communication (MILSATCOM) Request for Information (RFI) is an initiative by the Space Systems Command (SSC) to gather market research for developing a comprehensive space-based BMEW and MILSATCOM system. This RFI seeks input from contractors capable of providing estimates on the design, interfaces, and requirements for a system that includes Remote Tracking Stations, User Terminals, Mission Data Processing Centers, Satellite Operation Centers, and a Presentation Center. Contractors with expertise in defense systems, satellite communications, and missile warning technologies are encouraged to respond, as the information gathered will assist in formulating a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost for a partner nation's request for defense articles and services. It is important to note that responses to this RFI do not guarantee a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) or contract award.
