Summary

The Ballistic Missile Early Warning (BMEW) and Military Satellite Communication (MILSATCOM) Request for Information (RFI) is an initiative by the Space Systems Command (SSC) to gather market insights for developing a comprehensive BMEW and MILSATCOM system for a Partner Nation's Ministry of Defense. This RFI seeks to assess the capabilities, interfaces, and design requirements for a space-based system that includes Remote Tracking Stations, User Terminals, Mission Data Processing Centers, and Satellite Operation Centers. Contractors with expertise in satellite communications, missile warning systems, and ground architecture are encouraged to respond, as the U.S. Government aims to compile a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost for the proposed services and systems. The responses will inform the U.S. Government's approach to a potential Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case, although there is no guarantee that this RFI will lead to a formal Request for Proposal (RFP).
