Summary
The National Park Service is seeking to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for architectural and engineering design services focused on the treatment plan and structural repair design for the Chadwell Gap Coke Ovens located in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, Kentucky. This opportunity is specifically aimed at Liz Sargent HLA, the only responsible source identified due to their prior work on the site, which includes the Determination of Eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places and the Cultural Landscape Report. The project emphasizes the importance of continuity in expertise and knowledge of the site to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the repair process. Contractors with experience in historic construction and engineering services, particularly those familiar with the National Park Service's requirements, are encouraged to consider this opportunity, although it is a sole source award.
