Summary

NASA's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NSSC) is seeking contractors for the development of load cells for a six degree of freedom (6-DOF) thrust measurement system (TMS) intended for use during liquid rocket engine hot fire testing. The project requires the design and fabrication of load cells that can withstand dynamic environments and provide precise measurements under various conditions. Contractors with expertise in load cell technology, particularly those familiar with high-stress testing environments and capable of meeting stringent accuracy and durability specifications, are encouraged to submit their capabilities. The work will be performed at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, and the deadline for submissions is May 15, 2025.
