Summary

The Engineering Propulsion Standards Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM) is a special notice issued by NASA inviting industry participation to discuss a new comprehensive standard for human-rated spacecraft propulsion systems. This initiative aims to address critical propulsion system design, analysis, inspection, and test requirements to mitigate catastrophic hazards, drawing from lessons learned in previous NASA programs. The meeting will provide an opportunity for industry stakeholders to review and provide feedback on the JSC-67723 standard and associated documents, which outline best practices and clarify existing technical standards. Contractors with expertise in aerospace engineering, propulsion systems, and safety standards are encouraged to participate, as their insights will contribute to the development of safer and more reliable propulsion systems for future space missions.
