Summary

The FLUID program, initiated by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), seeks innovative solutions to enhance the functionality of Command, Control, Computing, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting (C5ISRT) systems under challenging network conditions characterized by degradation, disruption, and limited capacity. The primary objective is to develop technologies that can significantly reduce the communication load of these systems, enabling them to maintain operational effectiveness even when faced with severe bandwidth limitations. This opportunity is particularly suited for contractors with expertise in advanced networking technologies, software-defined networking, and resilient communication systems, as it involves both theoretical and practical applications aimed at improving military communication capabilities in adverse conditions. Proposals are expected to be submitted in phases, with multiple awards anticipated, making this a competitive opportunity for innovative firms and research institutions.
