Summary

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting a Sources Sought notice to identify potential vendors capable of providing an Infrared Optical Spectrum Analyzer. This opportunity is aimed at gathering information on commercial products that meet specific technical specifications, including a spectral range of 1.0 to 2.6 microns and a noise floor lower than -90 dBm. The NIST is particularly interested in responses from both small and large businesses, as they seek to determine the best method of acquisition for this equipment. Interested contractors should have experience in manufacturing or supplying optical spectrum analyzers and be able to demonstrate their capability through detailed specifications and examples of previous work. This is not a request for proposals but rather a market research tool to assess the availability of qualified suppliers.
