Summary

The Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Secondary Launch Capability opportunity is a Sources Sought notice aimed at gathering market research information from potential contractors capable of developing, designing, testing, installing, and providing support for Launch Command and Control Equipment (LCCE) and communication systems on the U.S. Navy's E-6B "Mercury" aircraft. This initiative is critical for enhancing the ICBM deterrence mission of the U.S. Air Force, as it seeks to replace the existing Airborne Launch Control System (ALCS) with a more robust and survivable alternate launch capability for both the Minuteman III and its successor, the LGM-35A Sentinel. Contractors with expertise in military avionics, systems integration, and support services for defense systems are encouraged to respond, particularly those with experience in modular systems and compliance with military standards.
