Summary

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) is conducting market research to identify industry capabilities for the Marine Corps Wideband Satellite Communications - Expeditionary Program (MCWS-X). This initiative seeks to find contractors who can provide system maintenance, sustainment, and enhancements for the MCWS-X terminals, which are currently supplied by L3Harris. The program requires contractors to build new terminals, perform engineering tasks, conduct training, and provide systems engineering services. Given the proprietary nature of the software and the lack of a Level 3 technical data package, interested businesses should have experience in satellite communications and the ability to work with proprietary systems. This opportunity is particularly suited for companies with expertise in multiband satellite communications and those capable of rapid deployment and setup of communication systems.
