Summary

The FAA is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources for the acquisition of PAR 38 incandescent lamps, specifically the 60W/120 model, with a total quantity of 7,895 units required. The lamps are essential for the MALSR system and must be sourced from authorized distributors or manufacturers, specifically AMGLO KEMLITE LABRATORIES, as they are the only approved supplier. Interested contractors must provide documentation proving their rights to use the OEM data or their status as authorized distributors. This opportunity is aimed at businesses capable of meeting these specific requirements, and responses will help the FAA determine the acquisition strategy and assess competition for potential set-asides for small businesses or other designated groups. It is important to note that this is not a request for proposals, but rather a solicitation for expressions of interest and capabilities.
