This initiative is designed to improve the overall health of the forest and increase the value of timber production. Contractors with expertise in forestry and land management, particularly those familiar with mechanized tree thinning methods using chainsaws and brush cutters, are encouraged to bid on this opportunity. The project is set in Bartow, West Virginia, and is a total small business set-aside, making it accessible for small businesses in the forestry sector.
