Summary

NASA/NSSC is seeking a contractor for the installation of NbTES bolometers as part of an upgrade to an existing bolometric detector system. The project involves adding a second detector capable of operating at frequencies up to 10 THz, which includes coupling it to a f/4.5 Winston cone and integrating a 10 THz low pass edge filter. The work will be performed at the vendor's facility, and the contractor must have the capability to meet specific technical requirements, including a system noise equivalent power (NEP) of 10–3.9 pW Hz-1/2 and a linear dynamic range greater than 70 dB. This opportunity is a total small business set-aside, and interested businesses should have experience in similar high-frequency detector systems and the ability to perform the required upgrades.
