Summary

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry input on potential solutions for a Long Range Tactical (LRT) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) intended for use by international partners in Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and search and rescue operations. The UAS must be capable of remaining airborne for up to 48 hours, operate in various weather conditions, and provide real-time full motion video through electro-optical and infrared sensors. Interested contractors should have experience in developing small unmanned aircraft systems, particularly those that can operate autonomously or manually, and are compliant with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2024. This opportunity is aimed at businesses with capabilities in advanced UAS technology, particularly those that can meet the specified operational and technical requirements.
