Summary

The Rocket Systems Launch Program (RSLP) is seeking information through the Innovative Delivery of Effects (RIDE) Request for Information (RFI) to enhance its acquisition strategy for suborbital and orbital launch services. This initiative aims to provide responsive space, experimental, and operational launch vehicle support to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies, utilizing commercial services and excess ballistic missile assets. The RIDE strategy is designed to accommodate a diverse range of mission requirements that may not fit traditional National Security Space Launch (NSSL) parameters, including payload integration and launch for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and beyond, as well as suborbital vehicle development. Contractors with expertise in launch vehicle capabilities, mission assurance, and rapid launch solutions are encouraged to respond, particularly those who can offer innovative approaches to meet the evolving needs of U.S. Government customers.
