Summary

The Undergraduate Jet Training System (UJTS) Request for Information (RFI) is an initiative by the Department of the Navy aimed at gathering market insights for the development of a new jet training capability for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviators. This RFI is part of an ongoing effort to replace the current T-45 Combined Multi-Service Pilot Training System, with a focus on achieving speed to Initial Operational Capability (IOC) and ensuring high-quality training. The UJTS program will encompass the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) of the new training system, including the procurement of initial production aircraft and ground-based training systems. Contractors with expertise in aviation training systems, aircraft manufacturing, and simulation technologies are encouraged to participate in this opportunity, as the Navy seeks to refine its requirements and timelines through industry feedback.
