Summary

The Vandenberg Space Force Base Campus Consolidation Electrical Infrastructure project aims to enhance the electrical infrastructure at the Vandenberg Space Force Base by providing reliable and redundant power to a newly identified campus area. This initiative involves the installation of two new 12.47 kV electrical circuits, sourced from Substation B and Substation C, to support the consolidation of various NRO facilities within a defined area. Contractors with expertise in electrical infrastructure, particularly those familiar with high-voltage systems and military installations, are encouraged to bid on this opportunity. The project is currently in the pre-solicitation phase, with an Invitation for Bid (IFB) expected to be released in March 2025, and interested parties should prepare to register for access to the Acquisition Research Center (ARC) to view the solicitation details.
