Summary

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking to modernize its Wattmeter Calibrator Systems (WCS) and procure a Primary Lab Wattmeter Calibration System (PLWCS) through a Sources Sought Notice. This modernization effort is crucial as the existing WCS has been in service for over 40 years and requires updates to enhance its range, accuracy, and precision for calibrating Radio Frequency (RF) Wattmeter workloads in shore-based laboratories. Contractors with expertise in instrument manufacturing for measuring and testing electricity and electrical signals, particularly those who can provide calibration standards and systems, are encouraged to respond. Interested parties should submit a Capability Statement and Rough Order of Magnitude to assist the government in determining the appropriate acquisition method and to identify qualified companies capable of fulfilling the requirements.
